Bought my '98 Savage new in March of this year, rode it to work every day except for two until 4th of July. Only took it to work a couple of times since then. Seems that the air conditioning doesn't work too well when the outside temperature is over 105 degrees F (40+ degrees C)! Riding season in this part of the Sonoran desert is from September through June, only night and early morning rides are comfortable in July and August. Still haven't met another Savage on the road, but know that they are out there from the bikes advertised in the paper and gone from the dealers' showrooms.
